Mitchell County Hospital CFO’s Candid Take on Choosing Multiview with TruBridge

Written by Multiview | March 10, 2025

We know selecting an ERP for your hospital isn’t always an easy decision. That’s why we sat down with Diane Moore, CFO of Mitchell County Hospital, a joint client of our partner TruBridge, to discuss why they chose Multiview and what their early experience has been like. From data migration to implementation and everyday efficiencies, Diane shares valuable insights for hospitals considering a change.

Q: What sparked Mitchell County’s search for a new ERP solution?

Diane Moore: Like many hospitals with smaller finance teams, we needed something that was easy to use, and that would give us better insights into our financials, support our reporting needs, and ultimately save us time.

This level of analytics is very important to us in a healthcare setting. We generate a significant amount of financial data, so we needed a system that could handle it effectively. That’s why we started looking for a solution that was not only powerful but also designed with hospital finance in mind – we found exactly what we needed when we heard about TruBridge’s partnership with Multiview.

Q: What made Multiview the right choice for you?

Diane Moore: There were a lot of factors that influenced our decision. First, Multiview’s partnership with TruBridge gave us confidence. Since we already use TruBridge for our EMR, it made sense to consider their preferred ERP provider.

I also spoke with peers at other hospitals who were using Multiview, and their feedback was overwhelmingly positive.  We spent a lot of time with their team in demos onsite visits to better understand what the solution could do for us. The pre-sales experience was very important as we were evaluating our options.

But beyond that, what really stood out was Multiview’s deep understanding of healthcare finance. There are plenty of great accounting solutions out there, but hospitals have very specific reporting and compliance needs. Multiview didn’t just check the boxes—it provided the flexibility and intelligence we needed.

Q: Tell us a little bit about your experience with the Multiview implementation process?

Diane Moore: Implementations can be overwhelming, but Multiview’s team made all the difference. They didn’t just hand us a system and walk away — they worked with us every step of the way to make sure we were set up for success.

We’re a small hospital with a lean team, so we needed extra hands-on support. The Multiview team is incredibly patient, helping us through the data migration process and ensuring that everything was accurate. We had some historical data challenges from our previous system, but Multiview’s experts worked through them with us, making sure the transition is as smooth as possible.

The personalized support on implementation we're receiving is incredible. The team really helped me understand the reporting capabilities and made sure I could structure financials exactly the way I envisioned.

Q: What are the biggest benefits you’ve seen since going live with Multiview?

Diane Moore: In addition to consistent reporting, another huge win has been the ability to give our department heads real-time insights into their budgets. Our managers can now easily see what’s happening in their departments — how much dietary is spending on food, what housekeeping is spending on supplies — it’s all at their fingertips.

On the Accounts Payable side, one of the most exciting changes has been going paperless. Our AP manager is thrilled that invoices can now be reviewed and managed electronically, eliminating the endless paper trails we used to deal with. That kind of efficiency is huge.

Q: What advice would you give to hospitals considering Multiview?

Diane Moore: My biggest advice? There is life on the other side of the implementation! I know that making an ERP switch can feel daunting, but Multiview’s team is there to support you.

If you’re considering Multiview, don’t be afraid to ask for help. Their team truly understands hospital finance, and they’ll work with you to get everything set up the way you need it. It’s a big decision, but for us, it was absolutely the right one.

Q: How do you see Multiview supporting your hospital’s future needs?

Diane Moore: We’re just getting started, and I know we’ll continue to find new ways to optimize how we use Multiview. We really appreciate Multiview’s vision to help us end month-end. Right now, we’re focused on automating more processes. Things like month-end journal entries, and eventually bank reconciliations, and deeper financial analytics.

As our needs evolve, I feel like Multiview will grow with us. The level of flexibility and ongoing support we've had already gives me confidence we can continue to adopt the solution as we continue to optimize our processes.
