When Time Isn’t on Your Side, the Right ERP Matters
When Beaver Valley Hospital’s finance system was abruptly sunset by its previous vendor, CFO Tyler Moss didn’t have months to plan a smooth transition. He needed a solution fast — one that could stabilize operations, streamline Accounts Payable, and support the hospital’s future growth.
Located in Beaver, Utah, a town of just 3,200 residents, Beaver Valley Hospital operates as a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital serving a deeply rural community. Moss wears multiple hats every day, balancing day-to-day operations with long-term financial stewardship across two facilities. In this environment, systems that work — and work together — aren’t a nice-to-have. They’re essential.
A Scramble to Stability: Choosing Multiview
Faced with a ticking clock, Moss began searching for a modern ERP built for healthcare’s unique demands. After reviewing his options, he selected Multiview for its robust financial management capabilities and flexible workflows. With the help of a FLEX grant from the Department of Health, Beaver Valley Hospital selected Multiview by the end of 2020 and quickly implemented the solution by June 2021 — and never looked back.
“Before Multiview, Accounts Payable was a bottleneck — manual, paper-heavy, and time-consuming. Today, it’s one of the easiest parts of my job. We’ve cut processing time by more than half, and we have complete visibility and accountability across departments.”
Automated workflows, electronic approvals, and tighter accountability for department heads immediately cut processing time in half and eliminated the operational drag of manual methods.

Seamless Systems, Smarter Decisions
A couple of years later, when it came time to select a new EHR, the decision was just as strategic. As Beaver Valley evaluated clinical platforms, Moss discovered that Multiview was a preferred ERP partner of Cerner (now Oracle Health) — a finding that sealed the deal.
“Multiview had already solved our biggest finance challenges. Finding out they were Oracle Health’s preferred ERP partner, with hundreds of joint clients made the decision clear — it meant extending the value of what we had already built, with confidence in tight integration between systems.”
The impact was immediate. With Oracle Health and the proven Multiview integration in place, Beaver Valley transitioned from monthly revenue loads to daily revenue integration. Now, Moss can reconcile revenue performance in real-time without logging into multiple systems — leading to faster, more informed financial decisions across the hospital.
Saving Time, Gaining Insight
By combining a modern ERP foundation with daily clinical data feeds, Beaver Valley dramatically improved its financial operations:
- AP cycles cut by more than half, reducing bottlenecks and manual work
- Month-end close reduced to 2–3 days, allowing faster reporting and analysis
- Dashboards and pivots replace manual Excel exports, giving finance real-time visibility
- Department managers engage more strategically around charge capture and revenue stewardship
“We may be a small team, but with the right systems, we can operate at the level of a much larger organization. Having real-time data — daily, not monthly — has completely changed the way we manage finance, identify issues, and drive operational decisions.”

What’s Next: New Integrations with Payroll and Patient Accounting
Beaver Valley isn’t slowing down. Moss plans on implementing Payroll 360 integration with Paycor to further streamline HR and finance processes and to implement Oracle Health Patient Accounting, ensuring future-ready alignment between financial and clinical systems and Multiview.
With these initiatives, Beaver Valley Hospital continues to demonstrate how even the smallest hospitals can achieve big operational wins with the right technology foundation.
